As of January 6, 2023, the Prevention Services Clearinghouse has reviewed 129 programs and services; 66 of these have been rated - 33 rated as promising, 16 as supported, and 17 as well-supported. This document provides information on:

  1. Interventions rated by the Clearinghouse or approved through the ACF Technical Review process
  2. Interventions submitted to the Clearinghouse but had insufficient evidence for review
  3. Interventions states plan to include in their FFPSA plan or have included in their approved plan

There are 9 intereventions selected by 15 or more jurisdictions:

  1. Functional Family Therapy (34)
  2. Healthy Families America (25)
  3. Homebuilders (16)
  4. Motivational Interviewing (29)
  5. Multi-Systemic Therapy (realted to Intercept in 5) (28)
  6. Nurse Family Partnership (20)
  7. Parent Child Interaction Therapy (26)
  8. Parent as Teachers (28 jurisdictions)
  9. Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (17)

It is important that jurisdictions have selected Clearinghouse-rated interventions created for children and families of color. The number of evidenced-based interventions effective with children and families of color and LGBTQ2SI+ persons is increasing but many more evaluation studies need to be completed.
