The National Association of Counsel for Children, Children's Rights, Juvenile Law Center, Children's Advocacy Institute, Youth Law Center and the National Center for Youth Law have released a joint statement on the roles of the child welfare court during a public health crisis. The letter addresses access to justice and due process, access to counsel, family time, youth and parent voice and the unique leadership role of judges and court professionals, among other priorities.
