The Children’s Bureau has issued new guidance to highlight and strongly encourage court leaders to engage Court Improvement Programs (CIPs) in assisting dependency courts to respond to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The attached file contains a letter from Associate Commissioner Milner to Chief Justices and State Court Administrators stressing the importance of CIPs in addressing the public health crisis, and a document from the Capacity Building Center for Courts, Conducting Effective Remote Hearings in Child Welfare Cases.
