The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services mission to “Help people live better lives.” The vision of the Division of Children & Family Services (CFS) includes utilizing the Family First Prevention Services Act to improve prevention services and remove fewer youth from the parental home, while providing more comprehensive, evidence-based services to children in their own homes, with their family, with reduced levels of secondary trauma.
