This Title IV-E Prevention Plan was developed using Child and Family Service Reviews (CFSR) data and observations, insight obtained from Department data, and feedback obtained from stakeholders, community partners, and Department staff. This Plan also includes efforts made by the Department to improve the child welfare system in Wyoming through the 2018 Program Improvement Plan (PIP) and other Family First Prevention Services Act initiatives. The aim of this Plan is to take steps in transforming the Wyoming child welfare system to a family wellbeing system by the identification of Candidates for Foster Care and the implementation of Title IV-E Prevention Services rated as Well-Supported by the Title IV-E Clearinghouse.
